Today Rebecca got to play mommy with Thomas. The nurse let her change his diaper (which was full), take his temperature (under his arm) and clean out his mouth with a swab. This is only the second time she's ever changed a diaper and she did pretty darn well. Sadly I didn't have my camera with me, but she should get some more opportunities to show her prowess.
Everyone(doctors, nurses, etc.) says Thomas is doing very well, he's very feisty, so much so that they have to sedate him at times so he doesn't use up all his energy kicking and swinging his arms. To sum things up, it was a good day.

Yeah Rebecca (I mean Mommy!)! It's funny how natural mothering seems to come with your own child, even when you might not have spent much time with small children before, huh? I know you will be the best mom ever for little Thomas...he's a lucky little boy to have you & Mike as his parents. Glad to hear you are getting to do some Mommy duties and thanks for the updates. Grow baby grow - we love you! the DeFattas
