Going Home

Today was Rebecca's last day in the hospital. We had very mixed emotions about leaving. Although we still live very close to the hospital, the comfort of knowing that we could hop on an elevator and see Thomas was really nice and outweighed being trapped in a room. Leaving the hospital without Thomas is not what we would really want, but we know he's in the best place possible. Now comes the tough part, trying to have a normal life and live it in two different places.

Once again, and I don't think I'll ever be able to do this enough times. Thank you to everyone who has supported us through this adventure, its not over, but the outpouring of support, prayer and well-wishes has been incredible. Some day, we will be telling Thomas how many people had a part in bringing him into this world and willing him to grow and fight. He may not fully understand and appreciate it, but we both do, and we truly cannot thank each one of you enough.

  1. Hi to Thomas and Rebecca form Vill Hills, Ky. I have been keeping track of Baby Thomas while Ernie and Betty are out of town....I've enjoyed the web site and all the great pics! My prayers are with Thomas and his gardian angle..
